In accordance with Article VI, Section 6.5 of Northwest’s 2022 Stipulation and
Settlement Agreement (Docket No. RP22-1155), on January 31, 2023, Northwest
issued refunds with interest at the Commission’s interest rate, which satisfies
Northwest’s requirement to return a regulatory liability recorded as a result of the
corporate income tax rate reduction from 35% to 21% during the Docket No. RP17-
346 settlement term.
Also, as required by Section 154.501(e) of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s
(“FERC”) regulations, on January 31, 2023, Northwest filed its report of refunds which
provides the details of the refund calculations. A copy of the report can be found on
FERC’s eLibrary under Docket No. RP22-1155.
