Subject: Declared Deficency at Lava Compressor and System Status Update
Notice Text:
Due to an engine failure, Northwest has unplanned maintenance at its Lava
compressor station. The operational available capacity at Lava during the
outage will be 587,000 Dth/d for net nominations flowing north.
If primary nominations in the Timely cycle for gas day October 19
exceed Northwest's operational available capacity, Northwest will declare a
Deficiency Period pursuant to Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of Rate Schedule TF-1 in
Northwest's Tariff, beginning gas day October 19, 2018 and will continue
until further notice. Based on a design capacity of 650,000 Dth/d, the Daily
Deficiency Volume will be 63,000 Dth/d.
Northwest would like to encourage customers to align supplies with markets.
The 13% Entitlement north of Roosevelt will continue until further notice. In
addition, Northwest is also declaring an Entitlement warning for the system
between Kemmerer and Roosevelt and will take appropriate action necessary to
preserve its storage and system integrity heading into the winter season.
Northwest will update the maintenance section on its portal at
northwest.williams.com with expected duration and further updates later
today.
