Prior Notice:
Subject: *New* Chehalis Unit 1 Planned Outage and Chehalis Unit 2 Solar Inspections Remin

Notice Text:

To ensure the continued reliability of Unit 1 at the Chehalis

compressor station, Northwest has scheduled the manufacturer to

come and fine tune the unit beginning Gas Day Monday, October

20, 2025, through Gas Day Saturday, October 25, 2025. In an

effort to reduce impacts to customers, Northwest has scheduled

this new outage to coincide with the posted Chehalis Unit 2

Solar Inspections beginning Gas Day Tuesday, October 21, 2025,

through Gas Day Thursday, October 25, 2025.

The following will be the daily operationally available

southbound capacities at the Chehalis compressor station during

the Unit 1 and Unit 2 outages:

  • Gas Day October 20, 2025: 600,000 Dth/d southbound
  • Gas Day October 21, 2025: 490,000 Dth/d southbound
  • Gas Day October 22, 2025: 490,000 Dth/d southbound
  • Gas Day October 23, 2025: 490,000 Dth/d southbound
  • Gas Day October 24, 2025: 600,000 Dth/d southbound
  • Gas Day October 25, 2025: 600,000 Dth/d southbound

Northwest will continue to mitigate Operational Flow Orders

(OFO) and deficiency impacts at the Chehalis compressor station

on an operationally available basis, as referenced in Notice ID

25-112.

If the southbound scheduled quantities exceed Northwest’s

design capacity of 672,000 Dth/d at Chehalis Northwest will

provide Shippers with their specific OFO obligations by 4:00

p.m. MST. Shippers must comply with their OFO obligations no

later than the Evening nomination deadline (5:00 p.m. MST).

If an OFO and deficiency period is necessary for a given Gas Day,

Northwest will wait until the Evening scheduling process to

provide notice of a Declared Deficiency period and will make

deficiency cuts to bring the nomination requests at the

Chehalis compressor from the design capacity of 672,000 Dth/d

to the operationally available capacity of 600,000 Dth/d

southbound (for Gas Days October 20, 24, and 25) or 490,000

Dth/d southbound (for Gas Days October 21, 22, and 23). If an

OFO is not necessary, but a deficiency period is, Northwest

will provide notice of a Declared Deficiency period and will

make deficiency cuts in the Timely scheduling process to bring

the nomination requests at the Chehalis compressor to the

posted operationally available capacities of 600,000 Dth/d

southbound or 490,000 Dth/d southbound (or whatever NWP cannot

mitigate during any day of this planned maintenance period),

all pursuant to Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of Rate Schedule TF-1 in

Northwest's Tariff. The deficiency period will continue until

the work is completed.

Shippers can monitor throughput quantities and obtain a copy of

Northwest’s OFO procedures on Northwest’s website at

www.northwest.williams.com.
