On January 13, 2024, GTN posted notice 1202, notifying customers and interconnects of a
“slug” of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) migrating downstream in the GTN system. The GTN notice can be found

Northwest Pipeline is monitoring interconnects with GTN and will work to mitigate the impact
on our customers by blending with the existing line pack. Northwest encourages customers
immediately downstream of GTN interconnects (Palouse, Starr Road, and Stanfield) to monitor
gas quality and take necessary precautions to prepare for slightly higher H2S on a temporary
basis
