Subject: Underrun Entitlement Warning North of Kemmerer

In preparation for upcoming maintenance in the next month and as
storage balances at Clay Basin and Jackson Prairie reach maximum
capacity, Northwest is issuing an Underrun Entitlement warning
for all Receiving Parties north of the Kemmerer compressor
station beginning Gas Day Saturday, August 26, 2023, until
further notice.
Northwest appreciates how diligent Receiving Parties have been
in reaching and maintaining a healthy imbalance on the system
this summer. With storage inventories near full, the pipeline
cannot handle additional banking while simultaneously setting up
for winter operations. As a reminder, Clay Basin will be shut in
during the Vernal Hydro Test, currently scheduled for September
14, 2023, through September 23, 2023.
As a reminder and pursuant to Section 14.6(c) of its Tariff,
customer-specific entitlements may be issued to Receiving
Parties that:
1) has contributed to the adverse operating conditions for at
least two consecutive days; and
2) whose actual measured deliveries have deviated from
Scheduled deliveries for the previous Gas Day by the greater of
10,000 Dth or 5 percent.
Please remain diligent in managing supply and demand and avoid
banking the system. On system balancing on Northwest’s Electronic
Bulletin Board is currently designated as “No” for all areas.
