Northwest Pipeline System Status and
Possible Entitlement
Northwest Pipeline’s Jackson Prairie (JP) inventory has been
Reduced by approximately 500,000 Dth over the last four days
due to heavy drafting caused by the most recent cold weather event.
Primary nomination requests through the Green River North
Constraint Point are making it difficult to impossible for
Northwest to move Clay Basin balancing gas north to help
maintain line pressure and reduce the continued drain on
JP inventory.
Northwest requests all shippers and interconnect operators
to stay on rate and avoid drafting the system.
Due to forecasted colder weather next week and the recent
excessive drafting, Northwest is anticipating the need for
an Overrun Entitlement Period for all Receiving Parties north
of the Kemmerer compressor station beginning gas day Wednesday,
February 12, 2020. Northwest will evaluate operating conditions
On Monday, February 10, 2020, and take the necessary actions at
that time.
