SUBJECT: Operational Emergency

Pursuant to West Coast Energy Inc, BC Pipeline ("West Coast") notice #50881 in which a Force Majeure
 situation was declared, Northwest is taking measures to protect the integrity of its system pursuant to Section
 10 of Northwest's FERC Gas Tariff. 

To the extent West Coast cuts the gas at Sumas, Northwest will pass corresponding cuts to the delivery points.

Northwest requests all customers to take immediate action to reduce loads on the system. 


Updates will be made as soon as they are available.
